Meet Your Neighbour

Turkish community is a fast growing community in Edmonton. Growing from a few hundreds the years ago to several thousands today. Since Turkish culture is quite different and unique heritage our community feels the need to make its presence known. To achieve this we organize meet your neighbour events on a personal level.
The program consists of inviting neighbours, non-Turkish members of the society, to our houses and community center for an improved understanding and communication opportunities. We will attain:
1. Understanding which will diminish the possibility of cultural conflict.
2. Integration of our members to the society by their participation and interaction with their neighbours.
3. Improvement on safety and unity within the neighbourhood.
4. Opportunities for possible employment and observation of people in our society in various careers for both sides.
